The Vertex Law specialist waste team made a big splash at this year’s Chartered Institution of Waste Management Conference “CIWM” at Paignton/Torquay by offering delegates free rides round Torbay in high powered RIBs (rigid inflatable boats) in near perfect conditions.

The CIWM Annual Conference bowed out after 22 years of being held at Torbay and Vertex Law felt this was a great opportunity to raise its brand profile at the event, seen as one of the leading network opportunity for all those involved in the waste management industry in the UK.

The weather was on our side and for the Tuesday and Wednesday of the conference the sun shone in true “blazing June” fashion.  The Vertex Law team, assisted by the Events Organisations team of Telemark Productions Limited (www.telemarkproductions.co.uk). worked the event and provided exhilarating boat trips at speeds of up to 60 knots for nearly 150 delegates and visitors.  Many more business cards and contact details were collected from potential clients across the sector.
