Fundraising
The corporate law team undertakes a wide range of fundraising activities for its clients, varying from placings and open offers for public companies to helping private companies raise additional finance through invoice discounting, factoring or other similar facilities. Vertex Law has close relationships with a number of banks and other finance providers throughout Kent and the south-east and will always seek to find someone who is willing to consider meeting its client's finance needs.
Takeovers
The corporate law team has strong experience in advising clients in relation to all matters covered by the City Code on Takeovers & Mergers, ranging from straightforward takeover timetables through to more complicated issues such as 'Rule 9 offers'. Our lawyers have also advised clients with regard to potential reverse takeovers whether they be the listed company looking to be 'reversed into' or the company looking to 'reverse in'.
Private equity
Through its connections with corporate finance advisors in Kent and the south-east region, Vertex Law acts regularly for management or finance providers in relation to private equity backed transactions. The corporate law team prides itself on being proactive in such transactions and takes a positive role to make deals happen rather than merely reacting to a client's instructions.
